I might work on re-locating near frozen, sleet covered leaves.
The ash pit needs shoveled out and re-located as well.
If'n one or both of them projects get done today, it will further confirm that eye yam, in fact, the kinda' guy who knows how to get things done.

None in stock locally, although I now have a date with the gal from the local hardware store. She did mention that balls that small were rare and hard to find.

I’ve read that that going to a .140”/3.6mm ball may help some issues. I can stick one in an envelope if you don’t find them locally. I’d think any gunsmith would the assortment, though.

Thanks for the offer, Tom. But, I'd be worried it wouldn't be here before deer season opens Saturday. I think we have some in a tray at work. If not, I'll find one locally.
My best guess as to where the original went is down into the furnace ducting. My living room is cleaner than it's been in months and no sign of it on the floor. I heard the damn thing bounce but never got eyes on it.
