An 031 kept my Dad from working on saws,
Mom bought him one for fathersday.
He would cut 30 cords+ a year it never let him down.
He used to spend every night getting saws to run during woodcutting season till he got the 031
Bought a 031 in a yard sale fer $15 bux, had a new chain. I tried dearly to kill that mofo cutting up my old log cabin.
The floor was three layers,,, lotta sparks hidden in there.
Hit a many nails and other debris,, wore the chain rite out,,,did the entire cabin ,,
Not sure what ever happened to it. Bit of a dog but did the trick

I think I put a 029 electronic ignition in a 031 one time, I could be wrong

Currently I'm taking a break from looking for the 1/8" detent ball that went sproing from under the extractor on my bil's Savage 110 that I'm cleaning for him.
Not much fun. May need to order a new one.
