Got a lil 1.5hp outboard that had sat for years.
Last year I found it needed a coil,,, told owner to get one and install it.
Very common issue on that model.
He did that, ran well for 1/2 the summer.
Came back kinda runnin kind knot.
He bought a carb kit,,, I didnt think it needed one, carb is very simple.
Chink carb kit had some parts and some that wont fit,, junk.
After playing with the thig for a bit I found that the coil wire going thru the engine frame was near broke off.
Lotsa sparkin going where it aint supposed to.
Will get a new coil wire.
Ya think the guy would have put a new one on with the new coil,,,,

just replaced the orings between a HEUI pump and the transfer pump on a C7 cat,
The Stihl bolts that i machined to hold the transfer pump on are still holding...
Have a hydrolic service to do on my S220 Bobcat, blew a big hose made a mess...
So while it is clean from the pressure wash it was a good time to change some filters.
Then its PVMI time on the rollback, again fuck 6 months go by fast

C7 seem to be better than 3126, we got 2 here, one has close to 10000 hrs and the other one has over 15, no work on either yet

a furd. i might have the front end sorted out finely. note to furd owners, grease the fuck outta the king pins. a near froze king pin is what wore out that bushing and drag link, constant strain all the time. i did get her so it will move by hand with heat and penetrate. the cap was half stripped and leaked grease pressure so i JBed the threads in an attempt to seal it. gonna try a hand grease gun with constant but not high pressure while turning the wheel. hope to not need heat again, it will melt the JB.

also i am about to re seal the top of the wood stove. that was all thats wrong with it. the cement was deteriorated between the cat chamber and air chamber up top so a tiny bit of smoke would escape during periods of low draw. took a while to figure out where the smoke smell came from since usually it happened in the wee hours as the cycle was winding down. Rick if yours does it, its not a big deal but there is a hidden bolt in the top just in front of the cat. if i had not felt it i might have broke the top trying to remove it.

They have a couple updates to make them Bullet proof
There is a new oil supply line for the HUIE pump with a filter in it
And the engine oil cooler is the other weak link for taking the HUIE pump out.
The only trouble i have had was the oil supply line went when i was driving back from Kamloops with it
Then the three small bolts from the transfer pump broke and fell out, they were replaced with some Stihl cylinder bolts.
This time it was the orings between the transfer pump and HUIE pump that caused the oil slick.
Other than that i can't complain dosn't use oil, good power for the truck

Fill the grease gun with never seize
I bought a detach neck lowbed where the neck hadn't been removed for years, there is a big hook that pivots that would not pivot.Welded a big nut on the end of the pin that was siezed, heated the pin piviot point up with a tourch and pumped never sieze in it and a long bar on a socket got it to move and is still free

I awoke to a flat on the SUV,, only flat on the bottom,, small rock in the tire tread..
