The Husqvarna thread

Having an issue with a Husqvarna 445, purge bulb pressed 7 times, fuel is in purge bulb, choke it and crank. It starts for just a second like normal, push choke off, or hit throttle and crank. Starts for a few seconds and dies.

Replaced carb, no change.

What is causing my problem?

Thank you
I'd be amazed if it's not fuel lines. It's not impulse if it's doing the same thing with a different carb. Did it start doing it all of a sudden?

I work on that series all the time the fuel and pulse line's go bad often
And it's tough to check them they are routed under the carb.

The easiest way to get to everything is to take the half wrap off and remove the fuel tank/throttle rod assembly
I'd replace everything fuel, vent and purge bulb line's
The 12.00 Amazon carbs all worked great
That 455 is still here he didn't want to pay
The 75.00 to fix it.

I would not give $75 for a running one. Fuck those saws.

I hate any of the homeowner husky's
but make some money fixing them
Local shops are 125.00 an hour for diagnostics and repairs on any saws now.
If i don't have time to work on something and they need a saw
I told several guy's just to get the china zenoah clones for 75.00 or so

I gave this one to my brother it runs very good for just a base gasket delete, muffler mod and timing advance.
I sold one of these 58cc saws about 8 years ago it's still running.

I'd fix the lawnmower first..🤣

The 5 series pro saws I've worked on was just as big of a pain in the ass to work on, 592 included. 592 is never going to be a saw of mine. Total garbage from what I've seen of and ran the 4 we have / had. 395 is the real deal for that class saw, husky fucked up big time

My love for Husqvarna ended with the 371,372,394,395s
I really can't get into the modern Husqvarnas
