The Husqvarna thread

I had one for 7 year's
I cut many truckloads of firewood with it
Wish I'd have kept it
Traded it for a cherry 272

Daughters friend has me look at his 394,,,, its well used and dont like like anybody care for it.
He says leaks bar oil bad,,, sure does,, hairline cracks just below rear bar stud into the oiler area,, i never asked,, how do these things happen???
I cant imagine how this happened,, would take some good twisting to do the damage.
And the icing on the cake,, he bought a new firewood saw,,, 3120,,,,

394/95 cases are known for cracking. Ham fisted with a long bar will do it they say

Big firewood in his neck of the woods

That being said, are 262’s still sought after? I’ve got one that Termite ported with a KS cylinder and the “highly sought after” carb.

One of these days I need to pull it off the shelf to take pics of and post it on ASs light.

Yes i believe they are still popular i think shaun carr was asking 500.00 for one recently on ope
if I didn't have 4 ported saws from Dunlap and evans is porting another 2171 for me I'd buy it.
I rebuilt a freebie 257 into a 262 last summer
I was honestly very impressed in how strong it runs stock
My Dunlap 372s are the strongest 372s I've ever run.
My saw buying day's are over I've passed on dozens that a few years ago i would've jumped at the chance
If i can resale one that's a different story I'll buy and sell them.
