The Husqvarna thread

Well I have a 562xp OE in the box here.
I was tuning that 346 in wood and a Asplundh tree service guy stopped by wanting to buy it
I said what about your hot shit 550xps
They were trying to block up a big maple easily 70cc saw territory with those little saws and they were really struggling
He said he'd trade me several buckets of 550s for a good 346 lol
I ran a 545 mark 2 i fixed a few months ago
Very disappointing saw i haven't run a 550 mark 2 i don't know if there any better or not.

Friend has a mark 2 and loves it but I he doesn't know any better as far as I know. It sounds like it turns 20 000 rpm but he's only got a 15" bar on it

My friend bought me this for fixing his saws all the time

I guess they were 130.00 on a flash sale
When he bought a few
I only saw them for 199.00 on Amazon
I'm not going to start it
A guy on ope and a guy on facebook
Showed pics of the bottom end with a lot of metal shavings and had damaged the topends
Just from factory test running.
Otherwise it's identical to holzfforma

Anyone have a 576xp carcass laying around? I got a box of 576 the other day. No need for it and also hate for it to sit here like it is. Its probably 90% complete. No recoil and I am sure some missing hardware. If I could find another carcass to make a whole or I'm up for letting this one ride.

Do you have any 372 topends?
I got a cherry 2165 with a bad cylinder
Neighbor had a 575 no 576s here

My friend has like 30+ 2165/271 362/365/371/372s
He got them free at the saw shop he works at for the last 50 year's
He never really collected any saws before this series
People bought new and gave him the old one's
He won't sell any of them or part's

My logger cousin has a pile of 2 series 266/268/272 and 371/372s 181/281/288/390/394/395s I'd love to go through
Its about 6ft tall 6ft in diameter
He's had a timber business since the 70s
There's a old stihl pile there too
Now most are smashed to pieces or bad cranks but I'd like to get a oem 395 topend for my holzfforma 395.
His crews been running a china 660 for a couple years and he said it still does good no problems.

Amish guy that runs saw shop is carrying them clones now. Claims he has a few 395 clones out with Yoder crews and they are holding up great. $330 for the 395. The carbon fiber look 372 is $475 with a china b&c. I asked if he warranties what he sells

The biggest problem with anything Chinese is the complete lack of quality control. You might buy one of those clone saws and have it last 5 years and the next one will blow up dropping the first tree.

The worst one's by far are the neotec bastards
They literally test fired them with straight gas scoring the cylinders
I've been into 2 new one's that are that way
Trashed topends
They have me 40.00 each for new cylinder kits.
The noname AliExpress 365/372 and holzfforma's are quite a bit better
Especially the 288s and 395s
I tore down my g288 for a ported cylinder and 066 piston
But it has a very nice cylinder that came with it and no wing oem style circlips.
I cut a lot with it
G395 i haven't run much.

I do really like the zenoah clones
Those things are like 60.00 shipped often
52/58/62cc
I've never had to work on one and many of my friends and neighbors bought them
For occasional use
I bet over 15 of those are around and 5 of those zenoah top handles which i haven't had to work on those either instead of 300.00+ for a stihl or especially the homeowner Husqvarnas
Which you can leave setting much because the fucking purge bulb lines always get fucked
Heavy pig bastard saws overpriced pieces of shit.
I've helped sell a lot of echo if guy's don't want Chinese any echo will last forever.
