The Husqvarna thread

I have a Husky 55 on the bench. A guy called me out of the blue asking me to work on it. He says I sold it to him 5 years ago. He moved to South Dakota and says there is no one out there to work on it. The recoil is gummed up with mung. I dressed the bar rails and sharpened the chain too. Adam/jonseredracket had a batch of builders that I had built up and sold.

I’m building/gathering parts for my white top 50 Rancher.

My question is I need a new clutch and what would you use as a clutch/bar/chain setup?

Thank you for the help.
If I remembwr correctly that would have had .325 originally. Probably cheapest to keep it that way and easiest. In a 50cc saw at my altitude (250') I like an 18" setup. 16" wouldn't be out of place at all.

If you can find a 3/8 LP setup I am sure it would run great but 3/8 LP setups 18" and longer are a bit harder to find.

Don't forget you can run .325 NK setups these days to free up a little power and stick with .325.
