The Husqvarna thread

I'd be taking the 10 minutes to change the seals. Easiest saw ever.
I have some on order

They haven't arrived yet
Working at my nieces I have to share the bench with some kind of built kz1000 100+ hp engine for a hill climb death trap.
Waiting on seals for a 272 and intake gaskets on another 272
I gave her husband a 028 super year's ago he hasn't used since I gave him a Chinese 372 this spring
I sharpened and tuned them today.

Does the choke setup work good?

Mine is a White top.

Haven’t tinkering with it yet.

That white top 50 have the 'smash the air filter to choke it' setup? If so...........it works, but is beyond hokey.

They're decent saws. Performance is decent. The auto oiler pump is a lousy, cheapo design, but functional. I REALLY don't like the intake setup. Check the intake sleeve (cheapest, shittiest intake boot setup I've ever seen) and impulse tube. Also check the plastic carb mount plate for warping, cracks, and pulled out self-tapping screws. An amazingly crappy intake setup overall.

That setup was first used on some consumer grade Partner saws (and then the Husky 49/etc and some strange little Jonsereds all derived from said bottom end Partner models). Later used on the 36/41/etc Husky saws and several Poulan/PoulanPro models like the 4620 and PP255. At least some of those have metal threaded inserts and machine screws in place of wood screws threading directly into the crappy plastic........
