Gun talk or something beside the stupid title i gave it

I have a couple c products in 6.5 and 224 that come with the guns. I figured i'd file the top of the cutout a little. but not tonight. i be tired. i did e mail asc and told them and there response was and get this..."are you using a 6.5 lower"

Wow. Now that is a moron. Even if he was thinkin' upper..................any AR15 mag (regardless of what cartridge it's designed to feed) should lock into any AR15 lower no matter what upper is attached ta it.

I ain't answered that yet, i'm tryin to think of a really smart ass response to that one. maybe Rob can help me out.

Tell him "no, but your grendel mags won't lock into my 6.5Cr lower either."

I'm kinda edging toward getting a .357 Ruger Blackhawk, in SS, with the 6 1/2'' barrel, instead of another DA revolver.
I will also be taking another look at the pair of 99s, getting ammo for 300 Savage isn't a big problem, it just takes the buck$.

You know I won't try to talk you out of either of those purchases.

I've been wanting a Ruger SP101 .357, with maybe a 5 1/2" barrel, for quite awhile. Haven't been able to make it happen yet.

Dave please tell your bro he needs to practice....................a lot.
uttpw36d3xa01.jpgi met him in 1977 I was 7 when he came home from germany he'd been in the army 5 year's
And was military police and expert marksman with rifle and pistol.
He was a excellent shot back then and would bring deer or grouse in at will.
I don't know what happened he has new glasses
And can't shoot for shit now.
I've shot pistols with him before he moved to florida
And he did good.
Year's ago he was a armed security guard and had to qualify every three months.

I knew I could count on you. A rifle is next, there are only a few choices here, for anything else it would be the order and wait bullshit.
I also need to take a good look at that 788, it is .308, a basic compact rifle.

A GP100 can have a six inch barrel and hold seven rounds, the SP holds five.
There is impulse to find a S&W 66.

788's were discontinued partially because they could often outshoot Remington's flagship 700. Good rifles. They even made a few southpaw 788's. They're hard to find, but I may luck out some day. Another one that I keep my out for when checking the local pawn shops.

I was also going to steer our young friend towards the GP100. That would give him the .357mag he's wanting methinks. Ruger finally started producing them in 10mm auto (about 25 years after I wrote a few letters to Ruger urging them to do just that). A friend here has one of them in .44spl too. Both of those are interesting to me.

I hear yas...but, I'm not a big dude, and would like a smaller frame revolver. I really need to try both, though.
