Walmart got a shipment in this morning. $9/box. No, that's not a typo...$9. My MIL later brought me another three boxes.

As far as I know, Walmart has not changed prices. And I’m quite sure they won’t put up with their suppliers raising prices.
They have guys that know when ammo shipments come in and they are there first. i don't go to the big wal mart unless i have to. but every time i been there there is nothing on the shelves.
Fwiw, federal has some stuff in stock and it changes daily.

Thanks. Yeah, I can't imagine when I last saw 500 rounds for $9. Even for low-end rounds, like Thunderbolt. Makes me wonder what Vista Outdoors is doing right/wrong.
I would bet it’s an existing contract and they are obligated to fulfill it at the original contract price. You don’t tell Walmart what the price is, they tell you.

Stay away from ASC mags, i just found out yesterday while mounting lights that five or six of them won't even lock up. grendel and 224 mags are hard to come by. i did buy 4 ar stoner mags i need to check.
You may be able to masage the catch cutouts with a file to get them to lock in place.

I have a couple c products in 6.5 and 224 that come with the guns. I figured i'd file the top of the cutout a little. but not tonight. i be tired. i did e mail asc and told them and there response was and get this..."are you using a 6.5 lower"
