I may/may not have purchased three Ruger 10/22s over the past several months. I shit you not, they're classified as assault rifles here in WA, so there's a 10-day waiting period. Now I'm looking for a wood stock (mine are synthetic)...
I have four and none have the factory stock.

Factory. I just don't like synthetic stocks. Both of my full-size 10/22s are the stainless/synthetic models (I also have a compact, for the sex trophies to learn on). If I can find wood stocks at a decent price, I'll keep the synthetic stocks as backups.
But will it kill an Elk.
They're all over Ebay. Factory wood stocks should be an easy find, most people ditch them for something else.

Yeah, I've been casually watching eBay. As with anything gun-related right now, people are wanting/getting stupid prices. I was bidding on one a couple weeks ago, that went for over $70.
I've never used these people, but $50 is better than $75. Nevermind, they're out of stock. derp.
