Not a bad time to buy. 10mm ammo can still be found.
Damn. Somebody was a Remington Nylon series collector.

Would like to have that FN49 and Savage 24.
I'm liking that FN49 too. I don't recall seeing a FN rifle I don't want.

Blazer ammo seems to shoot low and to the left. First mag through the Turkish 1911. Functioned perfectly out of the box, unlike my Colt Mark IV Series 80 Government Model, which required me to push the slide forward before each shot for the first few hundred rounds.
I know a guy that bought 4 new pistols this year. They all seemed to higher than normal FTF issues for the first hundred rounds but were fine after cleaning.

My daughter has a Beretta 1951. For Christmas, she's getting an extra mag, gun gear bag(re-purposed camera bag) and walnut grips. The grips arrived yesterday. If time allows, I'm hoping to put fluorescent filament into the original sights. Stock, they are lacking.

Do some dry fire practice. Low and left is common for RH shooters when they have a flinch/anticipation. Shoot a couple hunnert rounds thru a .22 pistol. Happens to everyone. For me, shooting consists of figuring out what I'm doing wrong, fixing it, and then shooting some more until I start doing something else wrong. Rinse and repeat....

My levers.

-Rossi R92 .44mag copy of a John Moses Browning designed Winchester M1892.

-Henry Repeating Arms H010X .45-70. Has a threaded barrel and both a side loading gate and a .22LR style magazine tube with a loading port. Replaced the Williams Fire sights with a peep sight setup from XS sights.

-1950 production (third model year, starting from 1948) "waffle top" Marlin 336 .35 Remington. Replaced the buckhorn rear and bead front sights with a peep sight setup from XS sights.

Going to have to check on XS sights. Been looking for something different for my golden boy, I hate the semi buckhorn it came with.

Thats a pile of em for sure. Likely to be more than I wnt to pay by the time they close Tuesday,.

Due to my severe lack of finesse I have a hard time believing that I notice recoil, much less anticipate it, but I'll look into this.

Don’t be surprised, have someone load the clip for ya and put a blank or 2 in there. Trust me, you’ll know if you’re anticipating recoil. I have that issue, A former sheriff, swat officer and a hell of a great guy told me about that. It works.

I like 'em. Simple and rugged.

It's a subconscious act. Have someone load up a few mags for you with a random mix of live and dummy/snap cap rounds. Ball and dummy drill. If you don't have dummies, you can have someone set your gun up for you with either a live round or an empty chamber (wif you not lookin at 'em while they're setting it up so you're surprised). Get two or three live pops (or a full mag, or) and then a dry pipe and you'll see what flinch is. 👍

I wuz a certified firearms instructor fer 15 plus years. Dunno if that means that I know what I'm talkin about or.........

YMMV
