shitty chink tires
I run name brand truck tires on my trailer not made in china. They ussaly wear to the cords without any issues
Ifn these give trouble, name brand tires will be next. With the load range E's it was at limit of rating(3550lbs/tire). 11,000lb loader plus attachment or two. The side walls were pretty hot to touch. These new tires are 6000lbs/tire @ 81mph. Thats 10klb margin. I'm hoping they hold up.

Hot temps is a short window here.
Have a buddy that was hauling wood one year and bought new chink winter tires for his truck.
Had a hot fall and he blew the back tires off the truck.Got one on warentee but they refused the next 2.
He ended up with new chink tires on the front for the winter and used name brand on the rear.
Singel rear wheels on his truck and pulling a trailer.

Hi Tim
I bought a couple light towers with Perkins 3cyl diesels.
Engine family is 7HPL1 13LCS at least thaty was what i could get from the plate. It also has Cat identifying numbers Model C1.1
One may have a head gasket issue as it was producing foam in the Rad
Any weaknesses that you know about them?
Thanks

Oil pumps have high failure rate. 0w30 is recommended. 15w40 is too thick in cold weather. That particular model is not very rebuildable. No oversized pistons and rings offered. I hear the cylinders are siamese and not enough room to sleeve back to standard. The hpl in the family number contradicts the c1.1. If it is a 1.1, the block will be cast S773L below the injection pump. With gov spring and timing change, can be converted to variable speed, up to 3200rpm. You won't get over 2000rpm as is.

The Perkins tag is in a bad place to read.
The second one I got 7h3xl 13lcs as the Perkins family. It was missing the fuel solinoid which I robbed from the first.
Runs great generator works.
Toying with the idea of buying the other 9 and flipping a few,
The 7h3xl... number is a emission certification number. The serial number is on an aluminum tag, 3/4" tall, 3" long, mounted directly above the injection pump. Or, the casting number below the injection pump would identify it too.
