A little weight is a good thing on saws........but they are, from a displacement and weight standpoint.

When skil introduced the mag table on a 77, sure it weighed 2 lbs less but it was a hunk of shit for stairs and rafters

Renewing my dibz on the bar
I just know all this will be addressed when the 501 comes outPerformance wise they are way different. I just seen a dyno chart between a stock not broke in 500 vs a broke in stock 661. Makes sense actually
.......but but but what about balance?.......but they are, from a displacement and weight standpoint.
Yep NW part of Oregon.Looks like your a fellow west coaster.
I do like the 3 points. How do you like the 500?
Stihl has generally always needed to do better on the air intake. 40 years ago the air box was next to the chip exhaust. Now it's on top but the intake is near the bottom.Yep NW part of Oregon.
I like the saw after swapping the AV spring it’s not as floppy as stock I just wish they would of done better on the filter. You know how how old growth or second growth bark has that dust that just gets in everything.
Ok, I see where this headed...Fuck, I'm kinda concerned.
Nor have you passed on a bucket of KFCTranslation:
I didn’t push back.
It’s always been amazing that we pay what we do for a saw that needs work off the floor. One thing this really has going for it is the weight over my Husky 390’s.Stihl has generally always needed to do better on the air intake. 40 years ago the air box was next to the chip exhaust. Now it's on top but the intake is near the bottom.
