Shot my friends .44 mag bisley and 92s
His son takes care of them since his dad has alzheimer's.
Is that 92S an imported Italian police trade in. I bought mine at the tail end of the lot. I paid $379 at PSA. I wish I had gotten one years earlier when they were $200. I just ordered a $40 spring kit for it to lighten the trigger. Some days I shoot the 92S better than the Canik.

Plus you can use it as a sledgehammer.

No idea it's been carried a lot
But shot little
There's no police markings he just said it was about 200.00 at a gun show
I'd bet the da pull is 15+ lbs
It's damn heavy
Sa about 5lbs probably but it's crisp.

Carried a lot, shot little. It sure sounds like a police trade in.
I don't recall mine having any markings related to being police. As I recall, the required importer's markings is a defunct business in Washington state.
I think I had read somewhere that NATO chambered firearms are prohibited from private ownership in Italy. Military and law enforcement only. That may be part of the reason they ended up in the US.
I bought a Italian navy Berretta M1951 at the same time. Paid too much for that one too. It's interesting to see the changes between the 2. It's basically a scaled down, single stack version of the same thing. Lousy sights and all.
