Gun talk or something beside the stupid title i gave it

Yeah, I wish I could do that. I still want/need more. I bought what my budget permitted. I still have to have enough cash to buy milk for my girlfriend and cigarettes for the kids. I even bought mags for a gun that I don't yet have, but am hoping to get soon.

How often do you actually have mags fail, and need to be replaced? I don't know that it's happened to me, yet. But, you shoot far more often than I.

I’ve had a few mags fail. I just put a new spring and follower in.

If a mag does fail on you I would think you would still be able to buy springs.

I see great opportunities for gun shops opening in cities near the boarder to your state.
I have a feeling they will be very well stocked in mags.

Those butler creek mags sucked. I have a couple of the clear ones, here. :(
Yeah they pretty much wouldn't work, i have two different kinds, one was the clear and another was a smoke color. don't believe it's butler creek. i'll have to go look. but when the ruger mags come out they worked i bought four of them. the smoke ones work pretty good too.

Nope, there gonna have bad habits they buy em theirselves.

Never had one fail. Have had a few over the years that wouldn't feed right. i quickly unload them. I have some mags that have been loaded for many years and still work fine. I have a steel mag stuck in an AR180 i know has been loaded 30 years. i guarantee it would work if i shot it.
So wtf do you need 200 mags for if you got some been loaded for years?

In all the hundreds of mags I've had there's been one failure
A Glock 22 mag spring broke the first time I loaded it.
I do need to get some replacement springs there's a couple
That won't lock the slide back after last round fired
No big deal.
My friend inherited a ww2 vintage Remington rand 1911
From his late uncle and the 2 mags had been loaded for decades
The was corroded and discolored
And every one of them fired
No jams
Steel mags will last a long time
Polymer I don't know.
