Shot this TX22 first 30 or so gettin it sighted in. this federal is some cheap crap. it all sounds different. none are consistant on the tone. some even sounded like duds but wasn't. shot at 8 big steps

15 rounds rapid fire, man i love those razors. i could hear DD barking and whining being scared from the gunfire and i was a good 150 yards from her. crap i even turned around the first time she barked cause i thought she was behind me. everything sounds crystal clear. i may even wear them hunting if i ever get to go again.
Only thing i gots big is a belly. but probably 8 yards.

That is sweet, Didn't know you were building the wood stocked version. Those are some bad ass rifles. what type flash hider you gonna put on it?
The parts kit came with a flash supressor/muzzle brake that is 9/16" left hand thread. The barrel I bought is a earlier light barrel design and has a bayonet lug. The early bayonet is also a flash supressor. I'm not brave enough to cut threads on the barrel. I think I'll leave it as is. Maybe find a bayonet for it.
The original hider is long as the extra length of barrel you have. don't believe i have a bayonet for mine or i would send it to you. i'll look to make sure. but don't remember ever having one. May not work on the barrel anyway. thing the hider is a little bigger. but again maybe it isn't. i'll go look, if i have one i know where it will be.
I think this is the correct bayonet for the early light barrel.

Here is a pic of the flash suppressor muzzle brake that came with my parts kit. It seems they are quite a few variants of the FAL. It's not legal to have this installed. I forget the details. I bet CB knows what the deal is.
Probably not legal with a shorter barrel like mine, i bet it would be ok on yours. I did look and don't have one for the FAL or FNC.
