I did see some deer season xp's in there for 40 bucks, guess if i really needed some i'd buy some. but i'm gonna use the 308's this year. they will kill elk ya know.

I killed my first half dozen deer with 45gr SPs from a .222 Rem, all but one went down on the first shot.

When nothing was to be found over the past few months our local shop only had two choices. 7mm/08 and 6.5 creedmore.

Just finished God Guys Guns night here.
One of the regulars brought his BIL with for the 1st time. He's a nice guy, he has sold off most of his guns cause he's got Parkinson's disease. He had flagged us a few times with his muzzle. He was shooting some suppressed .223 and fuckin up my targets. The .223/5.56 cuts through the 1/2" rod they hang from. When driving out, the guy cut corner sharp and ran over some wooden steps for the semi trailer and fucked em up. Then we got to work on his broken gun that had a round stuck in it. He did give me over 500 rounds of .223 frangable ammo he said was giving him trouble. Not feeling grateful.

Still not here, you can find the high dollar stuff. the cheap stuff is not to be found. i did stop at a wal mart and they had 300 round winchester boxes. had plenty of them. they were 40 bucks. that's why they still had plenty. the wal mart close to me hasn't had ammo in so long i can't remember when. i'm sure they get it in and people are waiting on it.

But the gunstores are asking 30+ dollars for number 4 5 6 shotgun shells
The less expensive ammo is likely still being delivered at the previous contract price. $40/box stuff is from a newer contract with pricing reflecting the current pricing.
