Gun talk or something beside the stupid title i gave it

Were you using high velocity ammo? They are currently saying the GSG Firefly (same gun, different name) is for HV ammo. Read product description:

If you do a little searching, they say all kinds of things.

Polish the feedramp and chamber, oil the shit out of everything, only use cci minimags, never use cci minimags, change out the recoil spring for the other one, all recoil springs are the same, there’s 3 different recoil springs, turn your magazine spring around so it tips the follower in the other direction, never install your magazine spring backwards because it’ll tip your follower the wrong way etc.

Well I just ordered one and I noticed that it now says high velocity. The 22 lr 1911 I bought about a month ago also specifies HV ammo. I've found that mini mags will cycle well in pretty much any semi auto.

Supposedly they offered 2 different recoil springs at one time. Then other people say they ordered the high velocity spring and it’s exactly the same as the one they had. Another guy says he has 3 different springs.

The one I fired has always run like crap. I got 2 full mags out of about 10 to properly load and fire all 10rds. Tried them full, tried them with only 2rds loaded and every number in between.

It’ll usually feed the first round from the mag, fire, extract, then won’t pick up the second round. Weak load not cycling the slide fully, right? Rack the slide and fire, stovepipe or maybe the extractor will jump the rim. Then sometimes it won’t fire, couple DA pulls and it’ll got off.

The second half of the magazine seems to be much less problematic than the first. But if you only load 5rds you get the aforementioned issues.

There’s lots of complaints about them online and lots of suggested fixes, but there’s no definitive “this is the problem area and here’s why.”

If you haven’t seen them already, there are higher capacity followers and base plates available, I’m tempted to order just to see if they change the feeding behavior at all.

Annie's little Llama 1911 .22LR would only cycle Mini mags, the same gun in 380 was a bit more tolerant, Silver tips and Golden Sabers did very well, others not so much.
I'm not trusting of self loaders, there are ammo QC issues that may complicate matters during repeat shots,
With revolvers a dud is replaced by a fresh round by pulling the trigger again and extraction/feeding for each shot isn't required
By the time you have cleared your malfunction, I would have killed you 3 times. The capacity issue is laughable when the average rounds fired per incident is three.
I figure the chances of being attacked by a pack of ninjas or rabid monkeys is pretty low, something other than a handgun better be handy

Since I'm was banned from Kevin Smith's
Chainsaw repair group on the Facebook's
And also the farmertec group.
I joined the most professional group there is
The Taurus group
My favorite was the guy trying out his
New Taurus 9mm pistol
I don't know which one
Shooting
Road signs from his car and was bragging about the accuracy.
Oddly many Taurus people buy the different color barrels Taurus offers for their new pistols
As soon as the get them and
Stainless Lakeline guiderods and other accessories.
The Kimber Facebook page is mainly
fuk Kimber for some reason.

I'll see how it works when I get it, I ordered the $250 9mm pistol with night sights and the Firefly together, the 9mm gun arrived at my dealer yesterday, Firefly hasn't been shipped yet. Going to call customer service on Monday and ask what's up with that.

These are still on sale if anyone wants a cheap 9mm.

Neat looking 9mm
Looks kinda like the hs2000 before Springfield carried them as the xd.
I have 2 SDS Turkish 1911 pistols the quality has impressed me.

Damn, that sounds an awful lot like an oil thread on a chainsaw forum

Just hoard something more affordable
Oh i have, i don't have but one creedmore rifle and i hunt with it. i have enough ammo for it to hunt with anyway. but not using it this year IF i get to go hunting. I really like the 6.5 bullet in either creedmore or grendel but both have been tough to find at a decent price. the ammo my guns are sighted in for i haven't seen in a long while.
