Either his hearing is bad or he has got the selective hearing part nailed...
Wow, The Dohn gots a huge woodpile.
I would like to get a pup for him to train...LOL! I hear that, funny little critters they are but very loyal, I wouldn't trade!
idk how ya can stand to stumble around in that. my knees wont allow it. thats why there are loaders.
I dont have a chute on mine, but I dont see why it wouldn't work, I just keep splitting till I get wore out or run outta wood to split, and it just keeps pushing the pile back.on that note, the oldest wants into the wood b'ness. guess ima set him up and that brings my years old wood splitter dream back up top.
it just might happen this time. its occured to me, since it will be waist high [to us tall fellers] might i design it with a chute, and aslo maybe a trailer landing leg so it could be lowered on one end in such a way that the opposite end with this chute would go in the back of a ton truck? me thinks its close enough to do some thinkin on. i am thinking one could about half load the truck while splitting. splitting action would push up the chute and into the truck. whatcha thinks? TFL,DR fuck off. FINE
Well, the dood I've been getting my wood from for the last couple years has this one, back my dump trailer under it and I'm driving away with a full cord 15 minutes tops. Yeah it's a chunk of cash off the bat, but he does 1500 cord a year....and 500 cord goes to NYC at $450 a popon that note, the oldest wants into the wood b'ness. guess ima set him up and that brings my years old wood splitter dream back up top.
