For the love of God don’t show me your wood

I’m tired, the guy that owns the ranch where I’ve been cutting for the last couple years decided he was gonna have a bunch of logs milled and asked if I could fall them for him. He hauled in a excavator and said he’d skid and load all the wood I needed if I’d fall the trees he picked for milling.
Over the last two days I’ve tipped over about twenty trees most were 30” to 35” and a couple were getting close to 40” at the butt. I know the one he cut 6, 14’ lengths out of it.
He seemed to pick the shit on the steep hillsides, was a bunch of work. I’m gonna stick to horseback work.
I pulled enough fiber over the last two days they are gonna give me a key to the city in Willits

What kinda trees get that big way out yonder?

Eye thought Doug phirr only grew on the coast where the climate is milder. Sure as fuck ain't mild where Stacy is
I don’t know what makes em grow where but the canyon where these are at is about 1500ft lower elevation than here at the house, there are also box elder and cottonwood scattered in the same area in addition to some lodge pole and aspen
