For the love of God don’t show me your wood

Was invited to a 50-60 foot ash tree last evening, maybe a couple of 'em, a couple blocks up the street.
A guy is gonna' cut 'em down today or tomolly.
I don't clock outta' the werkzhouse 'til 6pm and temps are gonna' be mid 80's,,too f'king hot..temps might be cool enough Saturday and Sunday mornin',
Guy said "he'd let me know"...yeah well, take your lil' Jonsered, with it's 'quick adjusting chain feature and cut the shit out of it pal, it's stihl fishin' season in my house.

He don't realize how much carnage a man such as yourself can cause in such a short time, and how much you got piled up in front of you at all times

First load out of the new road in the wood lot, counted 28 standing dead and a few already down that may have some good wood.
We may have found the limit of the liddle twuck,it was creaking and the tires touched a few times on the way home.
Took a new to me Husky 51 along for a test drive, should have brought a little screwdriver it was boggy.
The Poulan passed the test and will B 4 sail used it last year, left it outside in the weather for the winter.Filled with fresh gas and a few pulls and it was good to go. With the muff mod it works alright for 33 cc.

Heavy leaner had nowhere to go except deep in the bush with no good access to get to with the widdle twuk
So i brought a long chain and tried it out as a skidder.
Next time i will try to pull the tree in one piece.load 6.jpgload 6b.jpg
A skidding cone would be worth it,could feel it dig in a few times, but the awesome 600cc powered through.
My woodlot is 2 Km one way from my house.

you look like woman

The practice load i cut the other day is stihl "sunning" in the back of the GWH.

'sunning" is very good for a greedy heepin' Hoosier humdinger load of far'wood.

Today, whilst my farwood was sunning, I caught a couple dozen of the fishes.

Them fishes are red eye for the freezer.

an' eye aint kiddin', either.

Logging now...decided to use a clearing as a landing area.
Truck seems to take to skidding good for it's size.I am sure if a person continued without thinking about how the truck is built the weak points would show up soon.
Cut a corner to tight on the way out and almost unloaed the truck when the load caught a tree on the inside of the corner, pushed the outside logs back almost a foot. That wood have sucked
