Up fer grabz

That's a plausible explanation for sure...I think I just tuned out all the drama back then.

The original threads are deleted now but you were definitely in there - IIRC Cahoon and Helsel were reminiscing about the good ole days of AS in 2002/3 and you were light heartedly talking smack with them

And more IIRC - I’m pretty sure Ed (EHP) was unbanned for a week or two just so he could post in those threads….. I think I recall you pointing out that Ed hadn’t posted in eons and how the hell did he get let back in…. I think Trimmed in his sarcastic funny way told you everyone else to not question it cuz that’ll make him get banned again sooner…..

Though after the drama of that saw died, Ed mysteriously went back to being fully banned again, lol

JJ is 2002 - not sure of the month but he’s almost as old as I am….
My reg there dates from August 2001. I'd actually signed up at Arborist.com before then, which was a bulletin board (old-school internet bulletin board) that
was run by an Arborist out of central California. Most of the other guys came over from the old tool shed forums and the Yahoo groups.

Speaking of which, there was a Yahoo chainsaw group for a long time but the guys running that knew so little about chainsaws that they weren't even aware
that saw chain could be "ground" on a grinder. They were quarreling about different types of round-filing mostly.

Arborist.com was later sold and is now American Arborist Supply.

I venture to guess that Darin didn’t even know what a chainsaw was
