At the KY GTG it was beyond talked about in person - not to mention the Tlandrum GTG and how awesome that was when it spanked Gink’s 79’er - his spun faster than mine at WOT so in lighter wood he might have beaten me, but mine just had torque that a saw that size just plain shouldn’t have….. torque up the ass and torque for days - and the wendell was there to bear it!
People can say what they want about Eric but god damn he sure knew how to build a saw with some serious grunt; some give him shit for stealing concepts from Cahoon and Cliff but even if he did do that, more power to him for learning from the best, many can pull apart their saws but not all that do so can recreate what was done even if they’re looking right at it….
