I guess the local stihl dealer went to
100.00 a hour labor
He was at 90.00 last year
I get a lot of calls to fix stuff now
No reason to call me
Unless they bring me parts
It's hard for me to even get oem parts now.

No cash up front here, i just call and give part #'s. Finished up the 261 earlier, 2 hours from bare cases to running. 2 miserable hours at that, i can see why the guy in the shop at my dealer is such a sour ass...
But they claim of all the 261 they have sold there have been zero failures so maybe he is just a grouch. Now to decide whether it goes to my dad or hers... i damn sure dont need it

Took the 261 cm out today and ran a tank thru it cutting fir.

Tried out the one i just redone few days ago. Strong little saw for what it is, 60dl of 3/8 is whats on it.

Can't beat the price. Local amish shop where i find projects has raised his prices. Any stihl that is mostly there is $100 now. It is getting to be an expensive hobby considering i usually give them away
