Had a AWD subaru to take to the big smoke...
So i started looking for my BDay gift so i wouldn't be coming home empty
Found a 70 International Crew cab on Marketplace that had been there for a while with a price drop.
So i lowballed them and they accepted.Yea coming home with a load.
Then my neighbor asks if i can bring out her truck,so Yea now i am coming home loaded and getting paid,so basically getting the Crew cab for free.
I drop the Subaru off and notice a 6.5 sitting where a bunch of you think it should be at the dumpster.
I ask the guy about it and get told if i load it up i can have it,Freebie Yea. Turns out to be a 599 block which is one of the better ones.
Great day except my favorite truck was being a cunt and derating everytime it came close to lugging. Finally found a way to drive it without having to stop and reset the computer every few KM's
Anyone know anything about a CAT C7 ?
I don't remember many International Crew Cabs.I have a decent stepside box from the same era and a crappy full side box, both are trailers.I think the step side will be replacing the old wood deck.I was fantasizing on the way home and reilized i have a Ford 4x4 that was tboned with a turboed 6.9 in it so this body may end up on that frame ,or a Superduty frame with the solid front axle that i have as well.Love the mudflap might move it to my T800 and see if it
passes the CVIP.
Saved from the crusher.
