When the bride and I visited the Grand Canyon several years ago I had one hit me 4 or 5 times with a "selfie stick". I had been polite the first three, the next I told him that stick was going to bounce off the canyon floor, and the last time he hit me that stick and his phone landed about 30 yards away after I slapped it out of his hand. He got indigent at that point but understood he didn't want to go any further.
