Be 40 next month, at 38 my Rx got dialed back and again more so this time. But I will say I can't hold something with tiny lettering up close to my face and make any sense of it anymore

Just pulled the motor out of a Kawasaki teryx that I bought last weekend as a spare parts machine. Ran but had a noise, I bought it for sole purpose of using it to troubleshoot an issue I had with the other nice one and then pass the hunk of shit on down the line on marketplace. Was gonna sell it as parts or project and at no financial gain, actually a loss considering I drove past brads house at 7:30 last Friday Eve on the way to murphysboro and didn't get home until 11, $100 in fuel alone. Anyway, the boys think it would be useful for something so I'm fixing it to keep around. I'm sure they have big plans

It fit in mah wood cart so it came home wif me ,,,10.5 hp Briggs ,,,,didn’t look too beatup an was complete ,’18 model yr ,,,battree charger on jump start ,,a lil fresh gas an gave it a whirl ,,,cranks good ,,no fire till a snif of ether,,won’t stay running on it own ,,🤔🤔🤔hears where the attack starts 🙄🙄,,,stripped the covers to access the carb ,,couldn’t get to the bowl screws ,,sew spent 20 minutes removing the carb n manifolds ,,,got the bowl oft ,,float n needle weren’t jammed up ,,,,pulld the plastic float pivot n main jet holder out to clean it ,,,wait for it !!,,,,ran a torch tip cleaner up thru the jet was pretty gummed up ! ,,, time to put some compressd airs thru it for final cleaning 🤗,,,put some from the bottom up thru the assy,,,hear it comes !!,,,,,turnt it upside down and gave it nother blast ,,,pew that main jet exited the housing 😳🤬destined for parts unknown 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤨🤨,,spent 45 minutes crawling around the shop floor wif a brite flash lite in the direction of the blow gun blast 🤨,,awl the while using combinations of curse words to express my irritated state of mind 🤬🤬🤬,,took the eng n carb numbahs an did some internet searchin ,,,eye can purchase the indv jet for $22wif shipping 🖕or a new carb for $14.95 🤔🙄🤷♂️and stihl don’t know what else might be stopping it from mowin grass 🤷♂️🤨🤔

A lot of the new mowers have an electric valve on the carb and if it's not right you aren't getting gas in the carb. 22hp Kohler on a Crapsman went to the dump

Eye saw quite a few carb models wif the fuel shutoff solenoid on the bowl !,,,,,the juan eyem “ tinkering “ with doesn’t have that option ,,,just wish the owner had any idea why it quit mowing !!she was paying somebody to use that machine on her grass,,,she isn’t mechanical and really doesn’t know what stopped it !?🤔🙄,,,guess it’s gonna cost me $20 to find out !🤨🙄ifn eye scrap it there prolly ain’t 150lbs of metal on it ,,,might keep the wheels n tires n seat n hinge assy 🤷♂️
