Not So Pros v3.0

Every Fall there are a bunch of guys from down in the city that buy Wyoming hunting licenses and move their camp trailers to our main riders camp, It’s called the D Cabin or just the D. Most of them are fairly well off, one owns his own electrical contractor business, one owns his own HVAC business, there are about six of them all together. The one guy is into saws, he has a Moobs 661 and just bought a 500, never put gas in it yet. Any how’s we were talking saws the other day and he says I have something I want to give to you. When I showed up to saddle my horse today he had this.

Oregon 620, says he’s had it for three years and never plugged it in, wants someone to use it, says he might bring me a chain someday.
I have one and really like the hydraulic clamping. It makes thing go faster than I thought it would.

Any recommendations on a cheap framing nailer?

I’ve got a bunch of panels that I need to make. I started making them this evening and came to the conclusion that I don’t have enough fingers available to hold nails to pound in, and if I use screws that’s going to add a big cost to this project.

Who makes a decent budget framing nailer?

Any pawn shops around? Probably get one for under $50.

Guy I know shot a 16d nail through the second knuckle of his index finger. Couldn’t pull it out. Wrapped it up and went to urgent care. Nurse comes in and tells him they need to give him a shot for the pain before they work on it, says “the shot is probably going to hurt.” He unwraps the finger, holds it up to her and says “do you think it will hurt more than this does?”

Losing weight off the GWH with every passing hour..

finally got started s/s last evening.
My old pal Randy and good neighbor Bill insisted on helpin'.
I couldn't stand it
They were wantin' to ram-rod the project, making for ugly chunky splits.
Tried explainin' there's a proper way to get good clean splits
deer in the headlights from both of 'em.
Shut the splitter off and suggested a swill of bourbon and a cold frostie.
I'll split and stack my own far'wood
