Onced you cut the Ford in half lengthwise,,,should be no problem girthhitchin 2 loops together to get some kinetic nrg stored up to yank half a ford back to the g’rudge !🤔👍🤷♂️Picked up a loop of Husqvarna Xcut chain here at the werkzhouse, for the 290 boat anchor.
Price was rite.
Any of you smellers run any of it?
How well does it work for towing a Ford truck?
I’ve got a loop but haven’t tried it not sure it’ll be as nice as running square.
Square is the only way to go for falling if you can use it.never fooled with square.
it seems the 66 link chain I picked up is too short for the 290 wheel chock
gonna' maybe looky see if we don't stock a 67 link tomlly.
YesHarley T on AS is Fish, Yes?
He was a quality individual...7 years ago, I may not have been a member of SH then, but that does not matter, he was one of you.
RIP Phil
Square is superior in every way...Square is the only way to go for falling if you can use it.

It’s not so bad when you throw them on the grinder at the end of the day with lots of good light.Square is superior in every way...
But only for those willing to sharpen it...
Which is not without its challenges..
No.. not too bad. It’s not so bad when you throw them on the grinder at the end of the day with lots of good light.
I now keep a set of reading glasses on the shelf over the vise..I learned the square bit on 9/16'', there was lot of it, nearly 13 feet on the old Homelites.
1/2'' was easy, .404 wasn't bad, the little stuff took some doing.
I don't see well enough to file square bit, have to round file.
I'm guessing it'll run like hell, and fizzle out at the end of a tank of fuel.I’ve got a loop but haven’t tried it not sure it’ll be as nice as running square.
FxdShould of bought the ridgeline
