I need some tools. I'm open to suggestions. Quality trumps price by a long shot.
My needs are.
I am a huge fan of flex head ratcheting end wrenches. What's your favorite brand? I use Channelock at work, I like them but the flex head comes loose after a while and doesn't stay set even after adjusting the tension on the gkex head.
I just picked up a gear wrench to try, but I'm looking for options.
Screwdriver???? Who now makes anything worth a shit? I have tried various American made brands, but I'm not happy. I need precision ones up to a #2 Philips and maybe a 3/16 straight.
Who makes a good Hex key set? And a T handle set? And for a T handle set I do not want a set with a T1 size pecker of a Hex sticking out of the T.
I've tried Eklind Hex keys, my most common ones maybe last a month if I'm lucky. I've tried Bondus and they are slightly better, but they only last me maybe two months.
I have been eyeing Wera tools. I really like that a lot of their sets come as kits in compact and organized soft cases, at least their ratchet sets.
All I need is metric with a few standard.
5.5, 6,7,8,10, 11, 13, 24,17&19 mm.
And maybe 1/2"
Are Wera tools any good? I've been starting to look at other German made tools, any other suggestions?
