I need some tools. I'm open to suggestions. Quality trumps price by a long shot.

My needs are.
I am a huge fan of flex head ratcheting end wrenches. What's your favorite brand? I use Channelock at work, I like them but the flex head comes loose after a while and doesn't stay set even after adjusting the tension on the gkex head.
I just picked up a gear wrench to try, but I'm looking for options.

Screwdriver???? Who now makes anything worth a shit? I have tried various American made brands, but I'm not happy. I need precision ones up to a #2 Philips and maybe a 3/16 straight.

Who makes a good Hex key set? And a T handle set? And for a T handle set I do not want a set with a T1 size pecker of a Hex sticking out of the T.
I've tried Eklind Hex keys, my most common ones maybe last a month if I'm lucky. I've tried Bondus and they are slightly better, but they only last me maybe two months.

I have been eyeing Wera tools. I really like that a lot of their sets come as kits in compact and organized soft cases, at least their ratchet sets.
All I need is metric with a few standard.
5.5, 6,7,8,10, 11, 13, 24,17&19 mm.
And maybe 1/2"

Are Wera tools any good? I've been starting to look at other German made tools, any other suggestions?

Pricy doesn't bother me, I prefer quality. My favorite adjustable plyers are Knipex, and I see KC tool carries them and that they are a German brand too.

From what I'm seeing is that Germany is good for making quality tools.

Im using proto precision screwdrivers, with the red handles same as the mac ones. They were cheep on amazon. I like them. As for screwdrivers i like the snap on hard handle ones or the older red mac tools ones, sometimes you just get a shitty blade. As for hex keys, snap on, because replacement is a phone call away. I like gray tools hex keys, but you dont get them in the USA

Ratcheting wrenches are the best thing since edible underwear, last i bought was Gear wrench long handled box ratcheting set. that same set has almost doubled from when i bought mine a couple years ago. Then i bought a set of long handled Duratech ratcheting box ends, they are pretty good for chinese stuff. they work fine. i have a couple more specialty wrench sets by them and all are good sets and half the price of gearwrench. but i see even they have almost doubled in price from a couple years ago..FJB

as far as cheaper tools, tiawan is much better than china or india. look up "project farm" on u tube, he does very good testing and he will break them all just to find out what it takes. some times its surprising what brand wins.
Don't know if that's the same guy i watched do some ratchets and wrenches, snap on was never a winner. some snap on is made overseas now. i think
