I used to use a husky 525 iirc 2 piece. Really liked it. Looking at finally getting my own. Won’t buy a stihl. Echo, husky… I don’t know dick shit about the newer ones. A little help from you fuckes before complete derailment would be great. Thanks.

I have a Stihl 131, has plenty of power. i even got a bigger bar for it to cut the huge limbs out of one tree and it run like a bat outta hell with it. it sounds funky cause of the 4mix but it has some great torque. It is a heavy sucker. will wear you out in a short time. especially extended all the way. well it will me anyway. lol Biggest thing against it is price. they ain't cheap. i don't know what they sell for now. i've had mine for a few years now.

We are professional derailers. Perhaps you need lawnsite and #Philbert

i stick with stihl simply for parts availability. shit like that i never buy new, always a auction sale, so i figure ill prolly have to work on it.
just got a 85 a few months ago for 65 bucks, fresh fuel and swapped a cap off one the trimmer and it was good to go.

I bought a new telescoping Echo pole saw but wanted a fixed shaft with a add on extension but nobody had it when I bought. I wanted the fixed shaft so I wouldn't have to carry the extra weight when I didn't need it. Anyway, I trimmed all my trees with it and sold it, getting most of my money back. I then traded for a older Echo that I have less than $150 in that will do everything the new one did.

Before i bought mine i asked on another forum about the new at the time husqvarna. Was told they had some problems with the telescopic pole. Before that i would always rent them. The rental places here have stihl, one time the motor would run but the chain would not turn. Seemed like the driveshaft was striped, bucause it would catch a bit if you ran the engine and extended or retracted the shaft. For a unit that looked beaten i figured it would be good enought for me. For the amount of times ive used it, it would have taken 10 rents to buy it. Glad i did. I also use the hedge timmer head on it.

Does it have to have a engine ? Gots an ARS unit that extends 2X ,,think it will reach 18’ ,,,works good on less than 2” dia branches ,,bout 3-4 pulls on green stuffs 🤔🤗🤷‍♂️curved blade ana bark scoring knife @ the base of the teeth keeps the cut oft branch from stripping/ pulling barkstrips down the trunk 🤗 looks kinda medieval 😳🎠
