Knives or axes whatever

maybe one you knows, yesterday i detected a spot i found on an old map, it was gone by 1920. other than iron bits, i got a 1910 wheat, a little copper heart locket, and a hatchet head like i have never seen. it was 12" deep.
it has no pole at all, just an eye which is split open. very small, about 4" long and the bit almost as wide. i cant find an exaple like it on giggle. im wondering how old it is. no doubt blacksmith made?

My son in law finds an old axe head about every time we go detecting. i found one last time we went but accidentally left it at the site. too heavy to carry around and forgot it when we left. ain't goin back fer it, too far.

i never seen one like this one with no real pole, its just round back and that part was thin. this little site, had no can slaw at all. iron and copper only. its nice to not dig 10lbs of can slaw. i dont think it any thing but a small hose though, really tight area of iron signal.

Rick im gonna need a different shovel. the curve in a regular shovel makes me miss the target some times. i need a straight one, and one that aint heavy. i was gonna make one, but you know i will make it too heavy.

hmm, i changed my search and came with a british made spiked tomahawk. this has no spike. i need to clean it up, this may be really old.
Trade ax ?

My favorite shovel is called a ladybug, yeah it's probably for a woman. don't care though. it's 28 inches long and really light. I also see everything on that site has went up 20 to 30 bucks since i bought it.
