Gun talk or something beside the stupid title i gave it

Gonna order a couple each of these for the m-16's, don't need to get a sloppy lower from rotating pins. another lower would be a no no. i wouldn't pay what it would cost to replace a sloppy wore out one. the carbine already has a little play.

Shall we continue with the plastic pistols.

Especially true when IMI 77 gr otm 556 can be had at around half the price of Grendel, currently.

My .223 Savage 12V and 20" 5.56 AR barrels are both 1-9. Marginal when going over 73gr. May be able to get away with them at this elevation. Only one way to find out. For now I just have 55-73gr boolits for this caliber. Both of those rifles are just leetle critter killers and paper punchers, so I'm in no hurry to mess with the heavies with them.

The Grendel is a low priority right now. Will be dandy for busting coyotes whenever I get around to building it. I'd like to build a 6mm ARC sometime later for prairie dog thru coyote popping. Cheaper and easier than building a 6mm Dasher, 6mm BR, or 6mm XT bolt gun these days (times have changed), at least until I score a lathe. My 7.62x39 and .308 rifles (and my .35 Rem Marlin 336 and .44Mag Rossi 92R) cover most everything just fine for now. Anything bigger gets the .45/70 or the .338.

I don't know how it used to be but since i bought the grendel the ammo has always been higher. even before all this mess hit. i have 6 boxes of hornady black coming saturday. soon as this crap is over and the ammo comes back i'm gonna hoard up some 120 grain fusion for it. ammo is coming back, it's not hard to find any of the main calibers and it is coming down. should be good to go until biden makes another ban threat.

Please save your 6.5GR, 6.5CR, and 6.8SPC brass fer me Rick.

I sure will, i save it all except for the steel stuff. don't have a lot of creedmore or grendell now to shoot. friggin creedmore is crazy priced when you find it. i just seen some for 65 bucks a box of 20. You shoulda hit me up about 5 or 6 months ago. i had a lot of several calibers and gave it away. I had to pay 30 bucks a box for this latest grendel ammo i bought that's supposed to be here tomorrow. but it's only 5 boxes and not really what i wanted but it was the first grendel i had seen in a very long time. i don't have a SPC. i got a coffee can started now, but all it's got in it now is 308. this covid and buttface biden put a killin on the target paractice.

Dangit. Missed it by that much. Thanks for whatever you're able to save. I don't have an SPC either, but can use the cases fer other stuff. That reminds me..........I can use .224V as well. Same parent case.

Although marginally stable at 1.3-1.4, I'm running the IMI 556 77's through my Savage 10 223 9" twist out to 550 yards at 300' ele.

How much 6.5 cm brass would you like?

I had my hands on a couple Ruger single actions, a SS .357 4 5/8'' barrel and a very nice '70s vintage Super Blackhawk.
The .357 had a lot of rounds through it, hard cast lead from looks of it, I could smell 2400 powder, still in good shape, could use a good polish, looks like a toolbox gun.
The Super was clean, showed some use, fit and finish was excellent it was made before Ruger's slump in QC in the late '70s into the '80s.
I think the .357 will be around $250 because it looks ugly, not sure on the Super, probably $500 maybe more.
The 357 would be okay, but it didn't make my hands tingle like the Super did.

i have decided, i want another .357 mag/max H&R since the boys are never gonna let me use the one i have. however, i want the vintage slim contour ejector barrel, just because i always pick out the hardest to find fucking model there is.
also did you fukers know you can order rim fire ammo direct from CCI? of course they are out but they have the normal price. ima keep checking see what they have when.
