Handled a few. Best thing about the P320/365 is that the removable fire control is the serialized firearm component rather than the grip frame. Gives you tons of options.
Yeah, that's part of the appeal to me. I have smallish hands, so the grips on many pistols are just too big. I'm also considering an M&P 2.0 compact. Maybe others, after more research.
Backstory: I hastily bought a Glock 19 last year (actually, two G19s). The gen 5 appealed to me due to the changeable backstraps. I made a stupid assumption at the gun shop, thinking that the medium backstrap was installed (common on other brands). I was wrong. The grip is just too bulky for me. No real regrets, as it was a Blue Label purchase, and I shouldn't have an issue reselling (still NIB). Also, fuck off, Glock! Why bother making different sized backstraps, if they are all larger than on previous generations???
Check out a CZ P10C. The War Dept has both a P10F and a P10C. Of all the poly frame strike fired pistols, I like these the best. If the produce a P10F in 10mm or .45ACP I'd entertain buying one.
For the Sigs I suggest a P365XL or whatever version of the P320 is the M18 military pistol (or the M18 if'n you want FDE).

It's been a while since i shot either of them, but i liked the feel of them and the trigger is nice. I had pics of targets i shot with them, but they are all mixed up in my pics and i don't know which is which.

I got the wife a sig p365. It has a nice small grip. It is especially small for a double stack. She had trouble racking the slide. I've added a lazer and its my edc now.
I got the wife a S&W that is a nice easy to shoot gun. Only drawback is 8rd mag vs. the P365's 12 round.
