But i did get a response back on my question of gun control. he still didn’t answer my question though.

Dear Ricky:

Thank you for contacting me about gun control. It’s good to hear from you, as always.

I support a citizen’s right to bear arms, a right enshrined in the Second Amendment of our Constitution. As a combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, my soldiers and I kept our rifles and guns within arms’ reach because of a fundamental truth: at critical moments, your life depends on being armed and ready to defend yourself. And I know our founders gave all law-abiding citizens the same rights here at home. As a hunter, gun owner, and NRA member, I understand how central the outdoorsman way of life is to Arkansas’s culture and tradition. Please rest assured that I will staunchly defend your Second Amendment rights.

Nor do I believe that the Second Amendment and gun ownership contributes to crime. On the contrary, many studies—and plain common sense—demonstrate that widespread gun ownership by law-abiding citizens and concealed carry by citizens reduce crime rates. Similarly, long and sad experience shows that more gun control does not reduce crime. Federal law should thus not infringe on the rights of law-abiding citizens, while it also ensures that criminals and the dangerously mentally ill do not obtain firearms.

I’m honored to serve as your senator. You, your family, and our state will remain on my mind and close to my heart in my work. Always feel free to call my office at (202) 224-2353 or visit www.cotton.senate.gov. Be sure to drop by my office and say hello if you ever visit our nation’s capital.

Sincerely,

Got one of the 308's sighted in, at close to 175 yards the last five are all in the black about three inches. i wouldn't win no contest but it'll kill an elk. actually plan on a white tail. I used Federal power shock boolits that Mr. Barnes bought in LA. I got it on paper with military ball and then switched to the hunting stuff. then i clean all that stuff up. wind was blowin hard too. Got one more to do, but gonna wait a bit.
