Do you store those in their cases all the time? Any flash rust issues?
Yes, but i take them out of the holster. they are oiled down good until i shoot them. the ones that come in cheap paper boxes i usually just put them in a sock.

I'm takin that red dot off the canik and puttin the fully adjustable sights back on. i don't care for that red dot. it was a pain to adjust no instructions on which way to move it . so more or less a guessing game and remember which way you moved it last. but it don't hold zero.
I've been considering an optic ready, still shoot well enough without one. Nail in coffin on that idea. Everyone should be fluent in irons and start with them for years, I say..

Prior to 7/14 they were inexpensive imports from Russia with non threatening Sporter stocks. Easily 922r compliant converted to pistol grip with trigger assembly under receiver instead of behind it, cut the front sight off, change to preferred, and choice of furniture and Viola AK

It's a firefield, i have their sights on several guns and love them. Now this one may be holding zero. it's so hard to adjust i can't tell. it has no markings for which way you move it. all their others are marked. now i know it's small and no place to print it on the sight and it has no caps. it adjust with an torx wrench. but the little non informative pamphlet with it is worthless. on their other red dots the books are really good. this one sucks.
It did come with a hard cover that is on it in the pic. I dunno, i may leave it on and try it again. i have it close but not close enough for me. i should have wrote down which way is up and down and left and right but i didn't. the gun come with a cocking handle you can see in the pic, which was really easy to use.
