If'n you want good but not expensive then I suggest something from Vortex in their Diamondback or Crossfire lines. I have a Diamondback on my Savage A17 17HMR. Good enough for who it's fer.

Vortex crossfire 2 in either 3-9-40 or 2-7-32, 20 Dolla difference, I have one each, one on my ML, other on 22 mag
i find myself asking why not the 3-9.........
seems to have a big eye piece, but, most all new scopes do. i am prolly gonna need high rings.
also seen some deals on sig 3-9s and very good reviews.
No Hassel lifetime warranty with a vortex, simply pay the shipping to them. I was a skeptic of them for years, but you do often get what you pay for. How clear do you want and what do you expect of tracking,? Are the questions
