What do you think will be worth more later. i’m thinkin of buying some gold coins, not the new ones. i’m lookin at the old original coins. they are no higher than the new ones. I have always been intrigued by old silver coins and have a few from when i was very young. but silver has not done much in value increases over the years. gold has gone crazy. i almost bought some when it was close to 800 an ounce. sure wish i would have.

I always wanted to find a gold coin with my detector but that probably ain’t never happening.

I bought gold for less than $120.

I’d say gold silver and ammo. Just my opinion, but I think they will go after ammo not guns. If they can get guns they surely will, but the 2A doesn’t say right to own munitions. My 2¢

If there are any creeks around that used to be placer mined you might find gold on them with your detector.
I am going to buy a good detector for gold someday and go back to where we used to mine, it's just inside B.C.
The B,C, government took it away when they created a park. I'm sure there is gold to be found with a detector on the hills and creek bottom. We found a 74.6 ounce nugget i was the first human to touch it,There was lots of big nuggets on that creek and i'm sure not all of it got washed off the hills as the creek was formed.
You should have grabbed a bunch while you were young and nobody knew about gold...

Gold wasn't invented when he was young.

Never heard about any gold mines around here, we have diamond mines.

ammo is the new gold
I never understood why the average citizen needs gold, if things get bad enough, nobody will want it, can't eat it.
I have ammo comin out the wazoo, no place to put anymore of it. certainly have enough guns to use as needed , BUT..
I am not preparing for a civil war, i personally don’t think the American people have the guts to fight one now. sure there will be some but not enough. i have had stocks and bonds for many years and they have always done good until they installed this dick head we have now.

Banks are not paying hardly anything in interest now, thought it would be good to diversify some funds. i definitely would not trust anyone with my gold. it would stay with me. i also would only buy the old original coins. not the new minted stuff. but those old 20 dollar gold pieces are 2100 to 2500 a coin. OUCH.

Probably might be better than gold is storage of food and water. i am not a doomsday prepper though.

Them ones from when you were young : petrified banana slices

I think of the two things you listed, actual money should be listed as the third

How much are you planning on spending on gold coins…?

Take the same amount of money and put it into a really high yield savings account - that gold coin shit is extremely unnecessary when we have high money market accounts that can easily give a higher payback on the interest they’ll earn you

Guns…?? Hmm - yeah, some skyrocket in value - others sorta stay the same, and some kinda lose popularity

Ammo is for sure the gold of the gun world but as much as it increases in value, it can be expendable if you choose to either never sell it or if you end up using it yourself - the funny thing about money is it’s the exchange currency, so all it can do is stay the same and or grow without ‘being expendable’ unless of course if you blow it all on shit you don’t need

If one is looking to ‘get rich quick’ - they won’t do so unless they’re independently wealthy / filthy rich - that whole get rich quick thing is just plain horse shit for anyone who’s not in the 1%

Best thing anybody can do to grow wealth whether they’re rich or poor is start putting dollars away and let it grow over time - it’s a marathon not a sprint

Coins or guns…??

I say cash….
