Comparing the two newish 20 guage we bought last year, the Franchi affinity 3 black on black plastic inertia driven will not cycle 7/8 oz loads. It's meant for heavier game loads and abuse. The CZ 720 g2 gas operated wood furniture is heavier and balances better. It cycles the lightweight 7/8 fine. It's a target and dove gun, the wood is fatter and more forgiving to the face.
Just my notes, they both shoot straight yet serve separate purposes.
I think all them Turkish shotguns recommend that, but all i ever run through mine was buckshot. next trip out with one i will take some dove and quail loads. does those tri stars have interchangeable gas rings?
The P322 has taken over as the worst gun i ever owned, that prestigious title used to belong to a Raven arms 25 auto. but the Sig rules supreme now. i will call them tomorrow to send it back. but they won't fix it. i'm no gunsmith or engineer but i see the reason for the light primer strikes that nearly everyone has.
The bolt is made into the slide and the flat bar they use for the firing pin does not extend far enough out of the bolt. the hammer has to knock the living hell out of it to make it go foward enough to hit the primer. it just barely sticks out.
and the front where the cartridge is it's too far back. if they made that bar a tad longer on each end it would solve the light primer strikes. and yeah i am no engineer but i can troubleshoot stuff. i'll try and get a close pic later and see if's ya'll agree. the jams is from a piss poor design of the mag.
A lot of people were also having trouble of the barrel completely leading up after 100 rounds. it was pretty bad. mine didn't do that or that i seen.
Those guys that review guns that get them for free won't give an honest review cause they don't want the manufactures to stop sending them guns. I seen one of them shoot a mag and it jammed twice and had two light primer strikes in one mag and he said that's acceptable for a 22 handgun. lol i left a comment and said yer full of shit. i'm sure he deleted it. lol
Ok i'm through bitchin.

Never owned either of those but i remember them.or a Sterling
I got a Tristar Viper G2 in 20ga for the kids to try, haven't had it out yet. They recommend running a box of heavy loads through it, for break in, prior to running the light stuff.
