Gun talk or something beside the stupid title i gave it

Fucking Liberal politics finally forced me to make a decision that I've been mulling over for well over a year (what to replace my NIB, Glock 19 pistols with). My LGS is having a 20% off sale on almost all "high-capacity" (🤯🤬) pistols. I had been torn between the Sig P320 and the S&W M&P Compact. I "may" have purchased some of the latter. The ultimate deciding factors; the Sig was a bit more expensive, I would've had to spend an extra $50 each on the small-sized grip modules, and spare magazines are a minimum of $50 each. Now, I gotta sell the Glocks. The LGS wouldn't buy them, as they have "high-capacity" (🤯🤬) magazines. Gotta get rid of them within the next couple weeks, before the June 1st deadline.

I thought you lost them in the boating accident?

Can you explain?
Can you not be grandfathered In with normal capacity mags?
If not why do you have to get rid of the glocks why not just the magazines?

I have nothing against sig I know they make some good stuff
My p322 was aggravating at first but I really like it now the mag issues sorted themselves out.
But my friend bought 4 320s 2 .40s 2 9mms
A couple of them has feeding and reliability issues
And that was the time of the recalls
So he sold them off and bought smith and Glocks.
I've bought 7 new smith m&ps over the year's gen 1 and 2.0
They have been flawless in operation
The 2.0 trigger's are much better.

The ban, effective June 1st, prohibits any sale of magazines with the capacity of over 10 rounds, and ANY firearms that are sold with those magazines. The Libtards are labeling this a "High-Capacity Magazine Ban". Those of us with a fucking brain, know that it's actually a ban on standard-capacity magazines. All of the affected firearms are designed to hold a certain number of rounds. The ten-round magazines that are sold with the Democrat versions of these guns, are NOT what the firearm was designed for. Hell, some (maybe all) of the manufacturers even list the proper magazine as "Standard", and the 10-round magazine as "Optional". A Glock 19 is engineered to hold 15 rounds, and the most common magazine for an AR-15 is a 30-round version. The tyrannical snowflakes making these decisions/laws are both stupid and evil.

Yes, any existing firearms and magazines are grandfathered in. I cannot sell/transfer my Glocks, or any other affected magazines/firearms, after June 1st. I don't "have" to get rid of them, but I don't want them. Both of my G19s and my G44 are NIB. I realized, after the fact, that I hate the grip shape and size. Plus, selling them would offset the purchase of replacement pistols. Hatchet aint rich...

Thanks for the info and your experience with Sig and S&W. I really appreciate that, and am feeling content with my decision.

I e mailed sig Saur about a week ago asking what needs oiling on the virtus air rifle, just got an answer today. the woman said they never need oiling. i'm calling BS on that. every moving part that rubs against another needs lubed from time to time. also the thing leaked like a Sieve until i put that pellgun oil where T1 said and on the seal of the bottle.

See if you can try out a polymer80 frame or one of the variants. It changes the grip angle to that of the 1911. You still have the bulky glock grip, but I find the revised angle way more comfortable. Serialized versions of the frames are available for under $140.

A couple drops every once in a while should be all you need.

I have had a glocks for decade's but they were never my favorite
But they have never had any issues.
Just a home gunsmithed g19
I had to replace everything the guy screwed up
Then it was fine.
I was always of the opinion that
As successful as they have been they would of done even better
If they had a traditional grip angle.
Now there is very nice aftermarket frames I'm getting one for my
Glock 22
It's a pistol I keep on my nightstand.
You may want to look at the micro compacts
I've bought 5 in the last year
Fun little guns
I have no complaints about accuracy with them either.
The gx4 has 10+1 13+1 and now you can get 15rnds in a shield plus with
Mag guts follower's I think they're called.
They're so light and small I honestly can't tell I'm carrying one
When I'm walking around.
The g23 and m&p compact I can.
