Gun talk or something beside the stupid title i gave it

This thing was left in an apartment after the woman died. i found it kinda hiddin. i wouldn't shoot it. it's pretty cheap. then again it may be fine. it's a 22.

Rohm? The couple I’ve held seemed fairly crude.

I get those all the time and i never bought any reloading stuff, the cover girls are always nice lookin though.

I assumed that was the reason I haven't seen a issue for the past few years..... I figured they went from the mailbox into the trash.

This currant issue isn't the case. I think there may have been one chick in the entire issue, and she would never have made any cuts in the auditions for prior issues, and she was wearing more clothes in that photo than nun getting ready for bed.

Are primers still unabtonium?

To a lesser extent, but yes. They're now more available....................but still STUPID expensive.. Places (including Brownells) have 'em listed for $100+ per K now. I remember buying 5K cases of 'em for $60-$70 and I'm nowhere near as old as Leroy......

Yep. I went to HS with a guy who's dad had one. It'd been left in a used car that he'd bought in the 1970's. Think I'd be scared to shoot that rattle trap. What a POS.

Curiosity got the best of me. I just looked up the Co-Ax, those things over doubled in price, and I see they are out of stock at a few places I looked. I remember looking for a 2nd one circa 2013 and they were unavailable then too. I am kind of surprised that a company like Redding, RCBS, Hornady etc hasn't made a clone.

I just got a issue of The Blue Press in the mail on Saturday. It was the first one I saw in years, unless the wife has been throwing them away. I paged through it, Ouch, over $1000 for a 550 with out any "extra's" just to load 1 caliber.
It's been aver 6 years since I touched any of my reloading equipment. About once a year the wife tells me I should sell my stuff to purchase more sheep. I think I will just hold onto it in case I ever get back into shooting again.

Franklin Armory has been making an inexpensive, somewhat-clone of a C-Ax. for a few years. I'm not impressed.

I should have bought a Co-Ax back when they were inexpensive (back when I advised YOU to buy one....). Decades ago I walked past one listed for $75 at a gun show. Was the first table after the entrance. I went by about a half dozen more tables then fucking woke up and circled back. Already sold........

Dibz on the sheep funding reloading stuff.

Got a blued one with a 6-1/2" barrel?

DIBS

I thought they were the guns that put special in Saturday night

Exactly so. Cheap imports like those were the inspiration for all the "sporting features" import nonsense in the GCA of '68.

They were also the poaster children for the much later Ca "safe handguns act" bulshit, despite their not having been imported into the US for DECADES at that point.

After today i have determined i really need to get a few of those big ammo cans to put belted ammo in. i really do need too.

My mistake. Frankford Arsenal.................NOT Franklin Armory.

Fuck me! They're 2X as expensive as they were a couple years ago. Wasn't that long ago that you could buy an actual Forester Co-Ax for that (or less).......
Customer service used to be excellent with the reloading companies
Have you ever dealt with Lyman?
I still run my 35+ year old Lyman
t mag I bought new Lyman rebuilt it twice for free
I shot idpa back then and kept wearing the tool holders out
A Lyman rep called me and sold me a then new to market t mag 11
For like 50.00 shipped with a extra turret
I still use it.
I don't think I ever paid shipping or anything I just called and they sent parts or prepaid shipping labels I cant remember.
Great company back then
Same goes for rcbs
Some one gave me a new rcbs rock chucker press and a partner press
They are great for rifle cartridges.
Hornady for free sent me rebuild kits for various dies and powder dispensers.
