Who is getting frozen shit falling from the sky?

No frozen shit this week, but got an inch of non frozen shit on Tuesday that turned into slippery frozen shit when it landed on the frozen shit on my driveway.

A trip out to the mailbox now requires a set of these, or full padding for when ya land on your ass, which is practically guaranteed. For those of ya who go by y'all and don't recognize these, they're little carbide spiked slip overs called Yak Trax. Normally, I only use em out on the lakes when there's bare ice and fish still need catchin. Tomorrow I'm gonna raid the township pile for some sand and salt to put down before we get more (maybe) frozen shit next week. PRO TIP: Don't let the wifey catch ya wearing these things inside, or you'll be workin OT to pay for the new flooring she's been wanting and now has a way to blame you for it.

Have a pair of those here. We generally only get ice and minimal snow. Bought a pair 7 years ago ... no ice since. I think they work great!

Thats why I want a pair of snow shoes

Got a pair for Christmas, they ain't working so well at preventing frozen shit. I got about a month to decide if I want to open the box or return em and buy funner stuff at Fleet Farm.

Driveway de icing is going well, 15 gallons of sand/salt mix got laid down today. Pic was taken about 10 minutes after spreading, the good old school method works much better than the fancy new ice melter crap that comes in a bag, that shit just melts thru and doesn't actually do much when the ice is deep.

We got about 9". had the snow piled pretty high at the end of the driveway. Running out of places to stack it. Fukn snomobilers started cutting up into the front yard. They ran over a row of trees in the neihbors front yard. We need Mike from Maine to explain the right of way.
