The bright yellow with the radioactive symbol on it didn’t clue anyone in?
The radioactive bit is inside a stainless steel pill which is welded to the end of the probe rod. During the same class, the instructor told us about a guy who had found a “cool, shiny piece of metal” laying on the ground at a job site. It was that pill, that had broken off of somebody’s nuke gauge. He said the guy put it in his pocket and carried it around for like a week. Then went to the doctor because his thigh was hurting, and they ending up taking a softball sized chunk of farked tissue out of his leg.

Those things can be a PITA. I mean how can I work on anything or inspect anything if the machine comes to a E-Stop once a door or guard is open?

After the torrential rains of the past couple days, it's being guessed at that we stand a chance of the snows sunday into Tuesday (up to 6") with temps in the mid to upper 30's.
That rains and above freezig snows is what makes the ground soggy,,one of the few things that slow me down.
