What's for Supper

We been buying covered bridge brand at Costco but they burnt down a couple of weeks ago. They had a temporary home lined up but I'm not sure if they got going yet.
So far Costco hasn't invaded the north...
The closest one is about 1100 miles of 1800 kilometers from hear.
Lots of people make a special trip there to stock up. I don't see how that saves any money in the end as the 5 day trip plus expenses adds the fuck up.

Kilometer and a half up the road here, too easy. You can certainly save money if you don't mind storing a bit of stuff

This is not my recipe but it's very close. It says meatballs but meat loaf is the same thing

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Ingredients:

For the Meatballs:

1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 large egg
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Sweet and Sour Sauce:

1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are browned and cooked through.
While the meatballs are baking, combine ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic powder in a saucepan over medium heat.
Bring the sauce to a simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved and the sauce has thickened slightly.
Once meatballs are cooked, toss them in the sauce until they are well coated.
Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.
