Hendrickson walking beam bushing? One of the few pieces on my surpriseView attachment 6701 pallet of parts that didn't come boxed with a part number
Looks expensive, rubber between the inner and outer steel.
Yes, I'd say that's exactly what it is. Not as expensive as it looks eitherHendrickson walking beam bushing?
I may have installed a few. It's not a one man job to wrestle them beams into the press.Yes, I'd say that's exactly what it is. Not as expensive as it looks either

It's either that or a bushing for Hendrickson air ride trailer suspension, INTRAXX I think they call it. I had to buy a $600 installation tool to put them inVery well could be...

There are other suspension looking parts in a box with shocks
Been googling a few parts numbers and there is over 10K retail in parts on the pallet
Now just have to find the peoples that need them.
There was an Eberspacher engine heater on the pallet, hopefully i can get the missing controller and maybe install it in the buncher
The Mack camel back springs were also no fun.No, that's for sure. One of the few jobs I farmed out at the shop.
Yup, and the frame flexingThe Mack camel back springs were also no fun.
Its surprising how little some of those suspension parts cost. 80k lb truck riding a a block of rubber with 2-3 of travel. The tires are the real the suspension.
My Mack has those, replaced the bushings on the center wasn't the worst that i rememberThe Mack camel back springs were also no fun.

The center pivot bushings ain’t sew bad as long as those big bolts that hold the bushing cap in place come oft wifout a fight ,,,,,it’s the bushings @each axle bracket that suck !! Eye workd @ a Peterbilt/GMC dealrshp in the early ‘80’s for bout 3 yrs and can only remember them doing one complete Hendrickson walkin beam rebush ,,,,there was a truck spring shop nex door that normally got blessd wif those jobs as a sub contractor,,and was worth whatever they charged ,,,eye remember they had fabbed a 14” metal chop saw ,,inverted ona lil handtruck dolly setup that wood cut up threw the bushing n press in caps at each axles mt brackets ,,they could have juan apart in less than a half hour ,,,then some technical torch work wood have the press in cups out real quick alsew ,,,,they had a hunnert ton press to push the bushings out of the beam ends ( that was the 2 man part of the job !) glad eye didn’t have to earn a paycheck dewin that kinda work !😳🥵🖕My Mack has those, replaced the bushings on the center wasn't the worst that i remember
