Stayed right around 40 degrees today and zero sunshine. Not fixin to warm up much either for the rest of the week

Mtn Island Lake ,,,Charlotte NC ,,,Mrs n eye paddled 6.75 miles on flat warter ,,,got back to the ramp/car 12:30 ish ,,dash board indicated 90*ef ,,eye tried to hug the shoreline to get some shade cover on the way out ,,,,way back we paddled across some inlets to do a straighter coarse ,,,sunz was makin me a sweaty mess ,,,first time to have the a/c on for the ride back into town !🥵😳🤗

Got the bikes broken down ( frt wheels oft ) and loaded n secured on the trailer ,,jus before a strong “ gully flusher “ came thru the neighborhood mebe 4:30 -5:00ish ,,,,had juan lightnin bolt n thunder clap rattle the house abit 😳Eye wasn’t askeerd ⚡️⚡️🤔🤷♂️. We just have to toss our luggage and a coolr in the CRV before headin norf in the a.m. !👍temps are spoza drop to 48* by departure time ,,and we will prolly drive thru a couple downpours on the way 🤨🌧🤷♂️

I don't like wearing a hat in the winter so i have been using mother natures insulation.
But it's starting to thin out on top. Hats will be used more and more
