John Lambert AKA GypoLogger amongst other alias's
Passed away yesterday.
John lived in the same town not to far away.
Hell of a guy ,had great stories of AS from years ago.
I will miss him, had a few adventures with him.

Gypo was one of the original good old boys. He was on Arborist.com and the tool shed forums before AS came online.

Years ago he and I were talking on the phone and he needed a part for project, so I sent it to him. A couple weeks after he got it, he
wanted to return the favor. I said "surprise me". He said "whaddya like?" I said " send something artsy, maybe some folk art or something".

He sent me this cool vintage hand-painted First-Nations thing - "Legend of the Eagle". Whoever made it was quite talented.

That's how Gypo's brain worked - he was intelligent and eclectic and just a fine man.

I chatted with him a few times on the phone over the years - was just in general a nice guy

We shared a lot of laughs about the typical drama over the years - he was a fan of my craziness and constant shit posting

I remember him on Arborist dot com - even back then he was rather well known and ‘a man of the people’ in his own regard

Never had any direct conversations with him. But read plenty of interesting stuff. A few years ago he started a new account on FF and was spotted early on. It was funny regardless... Rip gypo
