Just an FL8 SLT, works good, I dont normally use it on deep water like up here. We were "only" fishing 60 feet or so, so it worked fine.
Guys I'm fishing with have some super hi tech (and high $$$) Garmins, but they caught just as few fish as I did.
I have the 12, I thought you must have been in some deeper water by the screen I was seeing. I’ve fished in water as deep as 120’, still never caught anything over 40‘
Many years ago, tried ice fishing with a couple guys I grew up with...it turned into drunken cold weather survival and riding out out a big snow storm.
We bought a 20' car hauler 2x5200# axles one braked. just because why not.
Better fix that braked axle.
